Nienna Surion is a Canadian cosplayer with over 15 years of experience. She first gained recognition for her stunning portrayal of Diva Plava Laguna from the movie The Fifth Element. This project catapulted her skills and passion, inspiring her to enter the World Cosplay Summit Selections. She was selected as a Canadian representative twice (in 2016 and 2020) and went on to represent Canada at the World Cosplay Summit finals in 2016 and 2022. In 2022, her team earned the Arda Wig Award.

Over the years, Nienna has been invited to judge 25 local and national cosplay competitions and has won nearly 30 awards in various contests.

Since the beginning of her cosplay journey, she has shared her love for the craft with countless people and hopes to continue for many more years. Nienna is a laid-back cosplayer who doesn't take things too seriously, believing that cosplay should always be fun. Her motto is: Don't worry, don't break the bank, take your time, and have fun! She loves thinking outside the box and enjoys the challenge of solving complex cosplay problems—sometimes making things harder for herself just for the satisfaction of finding the perfect solution. The thrill of discovering a clever, low-cost trick is truly magical for her. If you're stuck with a cosplay problem and can't find a solution, just ask her! She’ll gladly rise to the challenge and help however she can.
