The global phenomenon Power Rangers has been around for 30 years! That means it has over 3 decades worth of history, with highs and lows. Let's talk about all of it!

A Certain Otaku God's Panel

Featuring one of the more famous female protagonists, Mikoto Misaka, I will discuss with you my favorite anime franchise 'A Certain Scientific Railgun', which is one of 3 anime series portrayed in the same universe. In this game, two contestants face off, each defending a randomly selected anime character. They have one minute each to argue why their character would win in a confrontation. The debate focuses on the character's strengths, abilities, and tactics, with each contestant trying to sway the audience with compelling arguments. After both have spoken, the audience votes on who made the most convincing case, making it a fun and fast-paced test of knowledge and debate skills.

Clowning Around: Clowns and Jesters across anime and animation

Join us as we discuss the many clowns we’ve met across anime and manga! Discussion will include an interactive discussion covering and exploring several well known pieces of media from Garfield to Hunter x Hunter. Cold Read/Improv Comedy Grand Prix!

Like comedy skits? Want to try your hand at comedic acting? Think you're good at improv? Doesn't matter! Come on down to witness or participate in a comedic gauntlet where contestants from all over the state will do whatever it takes to win the grand prize!!! Thus because Kroze is this special kind of idiot, this panel was born! Come help make a brand new song, even if you have no prior experience with music or making good life choices (We know Kroze doesn't and he somehow gets by!). By the time the panel is over, we will have a mostly finished song… HOPEFULLY! how will it turn out? Well, that is up to you!

Meaningless [C]ode: A Deep Dive into the NieR Series' Religious, Existential, and Philosophical Elements

NieR Automata and NieR Replicant are well-known for their numerous references to philosophy, from Automata's many named characters like Pascal or Simone, to Replicant's Project Gestalt. In this presentation, we plan to make a deep dive into these two games, and clear the air surrounding its references to philosophy, religion, and existentialism; and in doing so, we will show how an understanding of these topics massively improves the gameplay experience.
