Kirk Thornton had solid careers in the theatre and film and tv before discovering VO. Directors found he had a talent for dubbing, so he was lucky enough to be trusted with roles like Askeladd in Vinland Saga, Gabumon & the various Gaurumons in Digimon, Jin in Samurai Champloo, Tanjuro in Demon Slayer, Kisime and Shukaku in Naruto, Yujiro Hanma in Baki, Klein in Sword Art Online, Don Patch in Bobobo and Saito in Kenshin to literally name a few. His game roles include Shadow in Sonic the Hedgehog, Igor in various Persona games, Siax in Kingdom Hearts, Jade Curtis in Tales of the Abyss, Benjamin Bayu in Starfield, The Last of 2, Shadows of Mordor and others too numerous to mention. Other projects include Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Love, Death & Robots, Clarence, Hotel Transylvania & Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. He also has extensive directing credits that include Final Fantasy VII Remake, Fantasy VII Rebirth, Kingdom Hearts and WWE Smackdown VS Raw. Kirk has voiced the holy trilogy of Batman, Superman and Jesus.
